For over twenty years, our passion for botany and liqueurs has guided us in our daily work of creating natural, high quality products. At Liquoreria Friulana, tradition and innovation come together to inspire creations that relate the story and culture of the Friulian land; whenever possible, we source our raw materials from small local producers who focus on quality.
In respect for their authenticity, we meticulously monitor all stages of production from harvesting onwards in order to create the mosaic of flavours that makes our liqueurs unforgettable.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Liquoreria Friulana was our dream for years. We met at the Faculty of Food Science and Technology in Udine, already harbouring a passion for liqueurs.
During our university studies we deepened our knowledge of ancient traditions and the use of herbs, spices and fruits as ingredients of spirits and liqueurs.
After university, however, we took different paths, working for Italian and foreign food companies. But the homeland called; in 2004 we decided to return to Friuli to fulfil the dream that had lain dormant for too long, beginning our adventure with the creation of an amaro and expanding the range over time – initially with more traditional products, such as grappa and nocino, and later with cream liqueurs and aperitifs.
A significant turning point came when a large distilling company asked us to produce an amaro for them. The success of this undertaking marked the beginning of custom production for other companies, which remains a cornerstone of our business.

A burning passion inspires us to create liqueurs of acknowledged and consistent high quality, produced in the traditional ways of our homeland. We believe that everyone at Liquoreria Friulana has an important part to play in this task, from concept to bottle.

our land
We grew up in the green landscapes of Friuli, playing in meadows and woods, and on the banks of the Tagliamento and Natisone rivers.
Our love for this splendid region and its varied landscapes inspired us to create something that spoke of our origins and our land.
We look first to local producers for our raw materials – fruits, herbs, spices and water – working as much as possible with people we know who add value to the territory.
We create our liqueurs in the town of Spilimbergo, an important historical centre famous throughout the world for its mosaics.

“I AM FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA” is a brand that testifies to the sustainability of regional businesses and the origin of agri-food products. It enables easier recognition of the origin of a product in the regional agri-food supply chain.
